CAP is working to insure that recently passed local and state laws that regulate the immigration service industry are enforced, that immigrants are able to safely report crime and that there is a massive education campaign to give immigrants information they need to protect themselves. CAP held a large public assembly on October 15 where Congressman Major Owens, state and local elected officials, the law enforcement community, and immigration advocacy organizations all vowed to work toward the goals that CAP laid out.
