CCISCO join Rally to to hold Wells Fargo Accountable

Hundreds of CCISCO and PICO leaders will join SEIU, AFL-CIO, ACCE, California Reinvestment Coalition, Causa Justa :: Just Cause (CJJC), Tenants Together, to present a common set of demands to Wells Fargo. Organizations around the country are poised to launch massive campaigns to both organize people and their money while educating this country on the irresponsible practices of big banks. The goal, to pressure the financial institutions and hold them accountable for their actions. Participants in these efforts include congregations from various religious denominations, union representatives, pension fund holders, and empowered individuals are all poised to move money out of uncooperative banks.
A procession through the San Francisco Financial District will begin at Justin Herman Plaza at 12:00 noon. The march will be led by a diverse coalition of faith, labor and community leaders. The
procession will converge on the Wells Fargo Annual Shareholder meeting at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in the Merchants Exchange Building. A delegation of leaders will go into the shareholder meeting and address the highest ranking executives of the second largest bank in the country.
